Tattoo removal

Tattoo removal is a procedure used to remove permanent makeup from the skin with the help of a special solution and device.

The removal procedure has a similar technique compared to the application of permanent makeup.

Needles are used to inject a special substance under the skin. Chemical reactions break down the pigment until it gently is released from the skin.

This process is done over the course of several sessions. Each individual and case is different and may require a different number of procedures. Patience is required to achieve the best results.

What is the remover & How does the removal process work?

It is a solution that consists of fruit acids which help to remove the undesired pigment.

It is similar to the permanent makeup procedure. With the help of a special device and a thin needle, we use a special solution that gently releases the pigment from the skin.

When should tattoo removal be performed?

  • You are not happy with the shade or color of your permanent makeup.

  • The color has become purple, orange, light red, greenish, greyish or red.

  • You are not happy with the shape.

  • You wish to eliminate white or beige tones in your permanent makeup.

  • You need to have a partial removal (front of the eyebrow, end of the eyebrow, lip contour, length of the eyeliner, etc)

Additional Benefits:

  • Highly effective for all types and shades of pigment from light colors to jet black.

  • Suitable for all skin types

  • The natural shade of the eyebrow hair is retained after the pigment is removed

  • The remover works gently and delicately. It effectively removes the pigment without traumatizing the hair follicles or their structure, avoiding damage to the skin and blood vessels.

  • The removal process helps you achieve perfect skin without undesired pigment. This leaves you with an opportunity to get a new higher quality permanent makeup should you desire.

 Tattoo removal FAQs

  • Every case is different and requires a different number of procedures, but you can expect to need several sessions.

The exact number depends on the initial state of your permanent makeup, when it was done, and the color of pigment.

Deeper shades take more time to remove.

Permanent makeup that was applied a month prior can generally be removed in one visit.

We always want to help our clients achieve the best results as quickly as possible, but some cases take additional time.

  • There are several sensitive areas of the face, which is important to be aware of for clients who have a low pain tolerance. We numb the area during the procedure so the client is comfortable.

If you are sensitive to pain and are concerned, you may take a Tylenol tablet thirty minutes before the start of the procedure (please consult a specialist if you have a medical condition that makes Tylenol not appropriate for your needs).

  • If you have a history of cold sores, there is always the chance of getting another cold sore.

We recommend consulting a medical professional before the procedure.

Your doctor may prescribe you Valtrex, Zovirax, lysine vitamins/supplements, or Abreva cream (the later two are available without a prescription - we recommend consulting a doctor about correct use).

  • Similar to the permanent makeup procedure, you may experience redness and skin peeling. You may apply makeup to the removal zone 30 days after the procedure.

The sessions must be at least 1.5 months apart. The skin should be completely healed before the next procedure.
