Hygiene Concerns: Wearing old extensions for too long is unhygienic. As your lashes grow, dust, dirt, and makeup residues can accumulate in the lash line and root area. It’s better to have the extensions removed by a professional, thoroughly cleaned with a foam cleanser, and then get a fresh set of lash extensions.
Risk of Allergic Reactions: Frequent exposure to the glue can lead to cumulative allergies. To avoid this, it’s best to get a full set of extensions once a month. You can get a refill within 2 weeks of the initial application, but not beyond that.
Appearance: Even with a refill, your set won’t look 100% new, as the technician only replaces the lashes that have grown out significantly, not all of them.
Lash Fall-Out: During a refill, only about 50% of the lashes are replaced, and the remaining ones will fall out faster.
Potential Damage: Regular removal of extensions is done with a cream remover that doesn’t harm natural lashes. However, during a refill, the technician removes lash clusters with tweezers, which can damage natural lashes.
Wear Duration: A full set of lash extensions lasts 3-4 weeks. If it’s been more than two weeks since your initial application, a full set of extensions is required, not a refill.

If you have a history of cold sores, there is always the chance of getting another cold sore.
We recommend consulting a medical professional before the procedure.
Your doctor may prescribe you Zovirax, lysine vitamins/supplements, or Abreva cream (the later two are available without a prescription - we recommend consulting a doctor about correct use).
