Dark Lip Neutralization

Dark Lip Neutralization is a process of correcting the color pigmentation for those with cool or dark-toned lips in which we neutralize the darkness in the lips to get a desired color.

This creates a more natural, even, and subtle color without pigmentation.

This technique additionally defines the outlines of the lips for a fuller appearance.

Dark Lips Neutralization FAQs

  • Dark lips neutralization is a multi-stage procedure that normally requires two to five sessions to achieve desired results.

Each case is unique and requires a personalized approach.

Results largely depend on how light vs dark the lips are initially.

Eventually, we achieve a lighter pink or peach color. It is important to be patient throughout this process and trust the artist’s expertise.

  • It is important to have patience throughout the healing process, as it can take up to seven weeks to see final results.

  • Clients who have two-toned lips (blue or purple), cool, brown, or dark color tones are excellent candidates.

  • This is a very good question! Permanent makeup looks bolder and brighter immediately following the procedure.

After a month the brightness will fade, and you will see a softer color, creating a more natural look.

The brightness is 40-50% less than it appears immediately following the procedure.

Though some customer may express concern about the initial brightness, it is important to remember that if the initial color tone is too light, there may be no noticeable results after the two month mark.

  • Certainly! Honestly, permanent makeup and fillers look amazing together!

We recommend scheduling permanent makeup procedures four weeks before/after filler injections.
